TO GET STARTED!

  • Gather your supplies.
  • Stain or paint the stool. We painted the base with purple milk paint to give it a pop of color and wood stain to the top

  • Allow stain/ paint to dry
  • Layout your alphabet stencils in desired location and tape in place. You can layout all if your stencils at once or stencil one at a time.

  • Start stenciling! Remember less paint is best. Using minimal paint will keep paint from bleeding under the stencil.

  • Allow the paint to dry and add a coat of polyurethane to help protect against chipping/ wearing off.

You can make a stool very like ours or you could add a custom touch by adding a name or initials!

Get creative and mix in numbers with the letters.
